WYCM signed on as a full-time Contemporary Christian music station in July of 2003.  It is in a real sense phase 2 of a longer-range plan to cover our region with great Christian music.

Open Letter to MAX FM Community

Dear MAX FM Community:

My name is Aaron J. Keyes. I am the new President of the Board at WYCM (MAX FM). I wanted to provide you all with an update on all the exciting changes that are going on at the MAX FM.

First of all - Thank you for being a part of the MAX FM Community. Your continued support and prayers are greatly appreciated.

As many of you know, Stephen Binley has left the organization both as Station Manager of MAX FM and as President of the Board at WYCM. Stephen served our community well for 15 plus years with dedication, faithfulness and obedience in bringing contemporary Christian music to Central Massachusetts. The Lord used him to lay the foundation for future growth and expansion so that the influence of Christian music can touch an ever growing number of people. Job well done, Stephen.

Judy Pelletier has also left the organization to pursue other opportunities. Judy has worked tirelessly and relentlessly to grow the ministry, and her efforts are appreciated.

We pray that both Stephen and Judy will be blessed in their new endeavors.

The Board of Directors has hired Steve Tuzeneu as General Manager of MAX FM. Mr. Tuzeneu will be responsible for the daily operation of the station, and will be on the air every morning doing the Morning Show.

We are also looking for talented radio personalities and other volunteer staff to help with coordinating the many day to day activites at the station. If you or someone you know may be interested in getting involved in the ministry in such a hands on way, please email me at akeyes@wycm.com.

The MAX FM will also be taking a new direction in the style of music that we play. We are excited about bringing you the best new Christian music with artists like the Afters, Josh Wilson, and Matt Maher as well as the latest from well known bands such as Casting Crowns, Third Day, and Tenth Avenue North. We appreciate your feedback and suggestions as we make these continuing improvements. This is your radio station and we are eager to hear from you.

Additionally, we want to expand the station's involvement in the community and the daily lives of our listeners. We want to become your local source for church events, community outreach, concerts and so much more. We will also work to bring you relevant and timely news and information to enrich your day and keep you informed.

We look forward to working with you to make this all happen. Your support makes this ministry possible. We ask for your continued faithfulness in fulfilling Sharathon pledges.
