SUMMER CAMPS

Blessings Farm Horsemanship and Riding thru August 11

Blessings Farm offers programs from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. for children ages 10 to 17 weekly through August 11 at the Farm, located off Rout 169 in Charlton, MA.  Programs include daily devotional time and two sessions each day of Horsemanship and Riding classes. Elm Hill Center Horse and Nature Lover Camps: July 18, August 1 and 8

Elm Hill Center offers summer camps for children ages 7 through 12 at the farm, located at 26 East Main St., Brookfield. The half day option for Horse Lovers is from 9 to 11:30 a.m. or Nature Lover from 12:30 to 3 p.m. A full day option for both programs, which includes lunch and swimming, is from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Cost is $70 for full day; $35 for half day. Baptist Village Christian Academy

July 18: Summerstock at The Mill presents Risen

The Mill Café will feature live singers and bands on an outdoor stage on Friday nights this summer from 6 to 9 p.m. Risen, formerly Stone Cold Blues, will be featured on July 18. July 19:  5th WYCM Anniversary Celebration with Apologetix

Come celebrate the 5th Anniversary of WYCM with a concert by Apologetix at 3 p.m., Saturday, July 19 at Indian Ranch, 200 Gore Road/Rt. 16, Webster. Tickets are $10 in advance or $15 at the door. July 21-24: Free Kids Club at Pleasant Street Baptist

July 21-25: SonWorld Adventure Park VBS at East Brookfield Baptist

A week of fun and adventure for pre-K to sixth graders (special needs welcome) will be featured in SonWorld Adventure Park VBS at East Brookfield Baptist Church from 8:45 a.m. to Noon, July 21-25. Children will discover the important choices everyone must make through lively songs, hilarious skits, exciting games, Bible stories and tasty snacks at this free program. July 21-25: VBS at Holland Congregational

July 24 and 31:  Youth Thursdays at Charlton Baptist

Thursday nights this summer will be all about Youth at Charlton Baptist. July 26: Yard Sale at Calvary Assembly

July 30 – August 2: Soulfest 2008 at Gunstock Mountain Resort

Over 100 artists perform at this four day event including Third Day, Newsboys, Steven Curtis Chapman, Jars of Clay, TobyMac, Kutless, Skillet, Pillar, Superchic(k), Barlow Girl, KJ 52, Flyleaf, Stellar Kart, Thousand Foot Krutch, The Chariot, Bethany Dillon, and Phil Joel. August 2: The Well Coffeehouse presents Indie Haven Artist Krystin Leigh

August 4-8: Drama and Music Camp at Oak Hill Church

Children ages six to 12 can participate on a week-long adventure about knowing and growing with God when Oak Hill Church presents its Drama and Music Camp: Son Seekers: Nation Vacation. The program will be held from 9 a.m. to Noon, August 4-8 at the church, 40 Sacarrappa Road, Oxford.  Drama, music, art, Bible lessons and games will be incorporated into the program, which will end with the musical presentation of Son Seekers: Nation Vacation for the community at 7 p.m., August 8. August 16: Ninth Annual Against the Tide Cancer Benefit

Against the Tide, one-mile swim, two-mile kayak and three-mile fitness walk to benefit the Massachusetts Breast Cancer Coalition, will be held at Nickerson State Park, Brewster, MA.
